Catching up the blog...

I've really neglected this blog.  It's so much easier to upload pictures to Facebook than on here.  But I am going to try to do better. 

News:  The studio is now open full time, Wednesday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. 5 or 6 through the week and at least 2 on Saturdays.  We have been VERY busy, but thankfully are about to get sort of caught up now that school is out. 

We have some exciting things coming up - facebook senior saturday (free profile pictures) and the 2010 senior pHOTography award (voting will take place on Facebook) this Saturday, June 27, and then on Saturday, July 4, we will be taking pictures of little firecrackers ages 0-11, from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. for an online pageant - the Picture Perfect Patriotic Pageant.  Voting will be done on Facebook, so if you haven't added me yet, please do so!

I have a new puppy.  Her name is Mischa and she's three months old.  Here are some things that have been going on at the studio:

 

 

   

The new Family Plans!

The Family Plan – $24.97 per month gives you ultimate family portrait coverage. This plan saves families with children over 60% off regular prices. These plans run for one year. 

The CD plan includes three 45-minute, three-outfit sittings, all images from each sitting on CD and uploaded to the professional lab, basic retouching, color effects, Christmas card design or collage design, the ability to order from the pro lab at wholesale prices, and Facebook images. This plan runs for one year. Your first sitting takes place after five payments, your second sitting takes place after nine payments, and your third sitting takes place after twelve payments. Late enrollment options are available.

The Print Plan includes three 45-minute, three-outfit sittings, eight sheets (of up to eight poses) of instant portraits printed after each sitting, basic retouching, color effects, and Christmas card design or collage design. You are not limited to three poses per package as with our traditional packages. A sheet is an 8x10, two 5x7s, four 3x5s, or 8 wallets. Extra sheets are available for $10 per sheet. Your first sitting takes place after five payments, your second sitting takes place after nine payments, and your third sitting takes place after twelve payments. Late enrollment options are available.

THESE PLANS HAVE NO ENROLLMENT FEES. IF YOU WISH TO HAVE A SITTING RIGHT AWAY, YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO MAKE THE PAYMENTS THAT GO TOWARDS THE FIRST SITTING IN ONE PAYMENT AND HAVE YOUR SITTING IMMEDIATELY. IN A NUTSHELL, YOUR FIRST SITTING AND PACKAGE COSTS $125, YOUR SECOND COSTS $100, AND YOUR THIRD COSTS $75.

I am really excited to announce that beginning the middle of June, the studio will be open full-time from NOW ON!  That's right, I had to pick one thing or another, and my business won - I resigned from my teaching position at Danville.  I have been SO very lucky to have such a blessed business as well as a steady job - especially in this economy.  I am really looking forward to being able to take care of my business like

I want to.  Here are some of the things I am adding now that I will be there full time:

Family plans, senior plans and lay-a-way! (I've been doing baby plans for a while now.)

A baby registry!

Photo restoration.

Passport photos.
